Coriolis Mass Flowmeters(CMF) have two significant advantages:direct measurement of mass flow and independent measurement of fluid density. However, it costs much high-tech added value and the core technology lies in a few large companies, which causes its high price. Especially to domestic markets, foreign CMF products have high quality and perfect performance, but only a few domestic manufacturers can produce CMF and the performance is greatly reduced. Otherwise, according to domestic involved literatures I also see that domestic study of CMF still stays in the simulation stage. So, this paper does comprehensive researches and experiments of CMF principles including vibration theories, drive technologies and signal measurements.At first, this paper briefly discusses the research background, present status at home and abroad, and introduces the research significance. Besides, a brief description of the CMF principles, composition and classification and the subject of the main content and structure of this paper are also presented in this part.The following Chapter2introduces a more detailed theoretical description and mathematical derivation of the CMF’s movement patterns, drive technology, measurement principles and techniques. Besides, the design and implementation of this experiment platform are given in this part, aimed at discussing feasibility of using this experiment platform to do research of CMF principle.In Chapter3, the hardware and software design of drive module are described in detail. The core of drive module is to generate sine wave by waveform resultant theory and use the sine signal and electromagnetic device to drive experimental system to do simple harmonic motion. This chapter is constituted with two parts which are hardware design and software design.In Chapter4, the signal measurement module of experimental platform is introduced in detail. This module should achieve signal acquisition, signal processing and measurement. The measurement method is based on the vector inner product theory, which is introduced in the first. This chapter also introduces two major modules respectively which are its hardware and software constitute.In Chapter5the experimental data, waveform and data analysis are given with PC software. The experimental part is divided into two parts of driving experiment and measuring experiment. The driving experiment gives the vibration waveforms in different frequencies and the signal amplitude control word. The measuring experiment includes two parts:the algorithm validation through standard signal and measurement of vibration signals.Finally, in Chapter6the conclusion and outlook is given. The work and problems of this task are summarized in this part, and research issues and direction of CMF are also given in this chapter.
