The concept of Virtual Instrument brings a great change to the field of testinginstrument. With the complexity and network of testing system, people have putforward higher requirement for the reliability of communication and real-timeperformance. As a reliable transmission solution for large-scale data Digital fountaincodes has received increasing attention in communication field. In this paper, based onvirtual instrument technology for real-time requirements of the occasion, discuss thedesign of short length LT code with excellent performance and task scheduling strategy.The research significance and status of fountain codeļ¼Œreal-time measurementsystem and networked virtual instrument are introduced at first. Secondly, explained theprinciple of fountain codes encoded and the design of short length LT code in detail,Based on this, improved the design of short length LT code by using piecewise linearchaotic map, The simulation results show that the new method has reduced the decodefailure rate by5%when the decode overhead is1.15-1.2. Then introduce and analyzethe task schedule in LabVIEW, summarized a hybrid scheduling strategy and analyzedits delay performance in a real-time measurement and control system, proved themulti-stage hybrid scheduling strategy can improve the real-time performance of thewhole system. Based on the study, designed a distributed network communications andcontrol system to meet the engineering requirements, given the design scheme of thesystem and implemented the multi-stage hybrid scheduling strategy and short length LTcode based on piecewise linear chaotic map in the system.
