Non-contact measurement has become a valuable tool on in vivo Optical imagingbecause of its significant advantages in detection sensitivity and system simplicity.Theoretically, because of the complexity of the imaging system in Non-contactmeasurement, to develop an accurate and effective detection algorithm is urgentlyneeded. The relevant detection algorithm involves two aspects, the forward problem andthe inverse problem. This paper concentrates on the two aspect problem of detectionalgorithm and proposes a detection algorithm based on the pin-hole. This forwardalgorithm uses the Lambertian source theory of diffuse light and Pinhole imagingprinciple. Motivated by the principle of optical path reversibility and the forwardalgorithm, this paper proposes a surface light flux reconstruction method, which mapsthe2D images onto the3D arbitrary surfaces. Finally, the two algorithms proposed inthis paper are both validated with phantom experiments. The accuracy of the twoproposed algorithms is verified by simulation results. In particular, quantitative erroranalysis demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.MOSE (Molecular Optical Simulation Environment) is a light propagationsimulation platform developed by our research group. Currently, the platform doesn’tsupport the simulation of light propagation in free-space and the reconstruction of lightdistribution of a tissue surface, which limits its application in study of Non-contactoptical imaging. The forward and inverse algorithm based on pin-hole is added into thealgorithm module. And the user interface of the algorithm module is implemented. Finally, the simulation results by MOSE prove the effectiveness and accuracy of theproposed algorithm.
