To accurately verify the radar signal processing algorithm, it is needed to analyzethe performance of the algorithm on hardware equipment. Because of the high cost offield debugging and the poor reproducibility, how to simulate radar environment forverifying the radar signal processing algorithm off-line has become a key problem to besolved in the process of designing modern radar system.In this thesis, a software design and realization method of data acquisition andplayback system based on CompactPCI bus is put forward. The software consists of PCIWDM driver, data acquisition application and data playback application. The systemuses PCI9054as the interface chip of PCI bus, FPGA as the system control center, andDMA data transmission mode. Using DriverWorks and DDK which is the driverdeveloping packet of Windows,the WDM driver is proven to be general and adaptive.Data acquisition application transfers the sampling data to a computer hard disk viaCompactPCI bus in real time. Data playback application playback the sampling datafrom PC hard disk to DSP board at a satisfied data rate, and display the results uploadedby DSP board.
