The near electromagnetic scattering field of missile-borne antenna has beensystematically studied in this paper. The near-field radiation model of fuze antenna hasbeen built by the electromagnetic simulation software. The parallel PO method isapplied for the solution of EM scattering from targets coated with radar absorbingmaterial with the arbitrary shaped beam incidence. The model to analyze theelectromagnetic field of radio frequency simulation system (RFSS) has been built on thebasics of rigorous electromagnetic theory. Electromagnetic field computing softwarehas been developed through the MATLAB. The main results of this paper are asfollows:Firstly, the dependence of the antenna patterns on the working frequency as well asthe material and size of radome for every band has been studied in the way of buildingthe electromagnetic model of fuze antenna utilizing the EM simulation software.Isolation of missile-borne antenna is calculated efficiently by Ansoft HFSS, the featuresof which are also explained.Secondly, using the FEKO, the radiation characteristics of fuze antenna have beenanalyzed in detail, including the features of amplitude, phase and energy flow density ofevery component in the near-field. The radiation model of fuze antenna has beenestablished to use the PO method to calculate the near-field scattering from targets.Thirdly, according to the Stratton-Chu integral equation, the formula is deduced tocalculate the scattered field of complex targets with the arbitrary shaped beam incidence. The near scattering field of typical target and its doppler frequency spectrum in theprocess of missile/target encounter is calculated by using the MPI to accelerating theprogram. Finally, multi-scattering point effect of the extended targets is confirmed with POalgorithm. The model to analyze electromagnetic field of RFSS has been established byrigorous electromagnetic theory. The deformation in the wave fronts of the scatteringfield of the extended targets is also investigated. The electromagnetic field which isgenerated by scattering centers distributing on the seeker antenna is simulated. A set ofelectromagnetic field computing software has been developed applied for the RFSS.
