This paper mainly studies normal temperature surface blackbody which has been used widely in various fields. In civilization application, it’s mainly used in inspection and calibration for various non-contacting IR imagers. In military application, it’s mainly used in development of IR systems such as search、reconnaissance and fire control systems. It can also be used in inspection and calibration of Generation3IR focal plane array devices. This paper mainly studies precision temperature measurement and control technology for normal temperature surface blackbody based on ARM chips.The paper describes the development background and application prospect and makes feasibility analysis for various parts of normal temperature surface blackbody. Analysis content includes:temperature sensor and it’s driving method、temperature measuring circui、data sampling circuit TEC driving and TEC controlling mode and etc. The paper mainly describes temperature measuring system and system calibration、digital filtering、software development environment of ARM、temperature control method of normal temperature surface blackbody. The paper proposes a precise method to measure temperature for normal temperature blackbody in which constant current-driving PT100and heat-sensitive resistor are used as temperature sensors.Low signal for temperature measurement with nano-volts level is realized and high-precision temperature control for normal temperature blackbody is realized by multi-mode control algorithm. Measurement resolution for normal temperature blackbody reaches0.001℃and control stability is±0.005℃.
