Heart disease is one of the major diseases that endanger human life. ECG is the most effectivemeans to diagnose Cardiovascular disease. To explore new way for acquiring and analyzing ECGsignal is an important subject at home and abroad.The thesis designs a real-time ECG acquisition and analysis system, and the system mainlyincludes two parts of ECG acquisition sensor and ECG analysis modeling. According to thecharacteristics of ECG, hardware is made up of signal acquisition and processing circuit based onMSP430microcontroller and then ECG signal was transferred by Bluetooth. LabVIEWcommunicates with microcontroller by using its serial interface module connecting with Bluetoothvirtual serial port. Considering the noise overlap the ECG signal and avoiding the distortion ofECG, the thesis puts a method of wavelet transform combining adaptive threshold to removebaseline wander and uses the combination of wavelet tra nsform and multi-threshold method to filterout high-frequency noise. The means of extracting QRS is based on multi-resolution analysis. Inorder to reduce the mistakes caused by wavelet transform, the thesis proposes a method of adaptivewavelet transform combining adaptive differential threshold to detect R wave. The algorithm is notonly to guarantee accurate detection of the R peak, but also to ensure high resolution of wavelettransform in frequency domain, which will be useful for further detecting other waves of QRS. Thethesis also use LabVIEW to real-time display, save and playback the ECG data, which make thedata more intuitive and read more easily. The experiment results show that the designed system runsstably and achieves good performance.
