With the development of society and the improvement of living standards, people sethigher demands for good healthcare services making remote monitoring medical system thefocus of today. To accurately get patients’ physiological information, it is necessary thatdevelop a real-time monitoring system for patients with sudden infectious diseases. The remotemonitoring system which works as the data terminal to develop a remote real-time monitoringsystem of multiple physiological parameters for patients with sudden major infectious diseases,plays an important role in the entire system and becomes the hot area of current research.SQL Server2008is used to design the database structure. Through the analysis of thedemand of system, this system uses Visual Studio2010as development tools, C#asdevelopment language, undergoes a detailed application design and implements the function toadd, store and delete patients’ basic information and draws the curve of patients’ physiologicalparameters (temperature, heart rate) versus time. It focuses on providing services and decisionmaking for supervisors, and also is a man-machine interactive system to provide users withconvenient, fast and secure access to information.To provide powerful decision support for supervisors, the association rules is studied andan improved Apriori algorithm specific to this system is proposed. The improved algorithmintroduce the concept of the Attribute-value-degree which reduce the time to find frequent itemsets and reduce the times of scanning database. To improve the correctness, effectiveness andspeediness of the new algorithm, the improved Apriori algorithm and the traditional Apriorialgorithm are compared. The results show that the improved Apriori algorithm can get theneeded strong association rules and a significant improvement in efficiency. The desired resultis obtained after the new Apriori algorithm is applied to this system.To improve the query speed, the information retrieval algorithm is also studied andproposed a personalized information retrieval algorithm. Considering patients’periods of illnesscurve may impact user’s interest, a retrieval model is established based on user’s interests. Acontrolled study is made between the query speed of ordinary information algorithm and thepersonalized information algorithm applied to the system with5000patients’records and showsthat the query speed of the personalized information algorithm is far greater than the other.
