With the development of technology of the wireless communication and microwave integratedcircuit in recent years, the planar transmission lines obtain a wide range of applications, especiallyas microstrip line, coplanar waveguide, slotline and coplanar stripline. Transition between the jointstructure in the different transmission lines in the microwave transmission system and themicrowave measurement system take the important role. We analyze the characteristic impedanceand the electromagnetic field structure of the coplanar waveguide and the microstrip line transitionto study the changes of impedance and electromagnetic field between the transition structure. Bystudying the influence of the gradient without via hole trasition length of the structure, the width ofthe structure,conduction structure and the ground plane structure to achieve the purpose of reducingthe physical structure of the adapter. By studying material and coplanar with the backplanewaveguide to achieve the purpose to improve the low frequency response, by the field of structuralanalysis and impedance analysis, the adapter structure proposed back of the gradient of the coplanarwaveguide and the microstrip line, and the purpose of improving operating band.Through without via-hole coplanar waveguide and microstrip line traisition s analysis, designand simulation, we can find that the structure of the coplanar waveguide and microstrip linetransition has a better performance than directly connected structure in low-frequency,response canbe improved from10Ghz to6GHz or4GHz by the new transition srtucture, the insertion loss can becontrolled in the blow1dB.Through without via-hole coplanar waveguide and microstrip line transition in microwavetransmission and microwave measurement system reflects a great role, will become days coplanarwaveguide and microstrip line feeder system, coplanar waveguide and microstrip line an importantcomponent of the hybrid microwave integrated circuit structure.
