Logistics is the most important part of the modern enterprise management. Thetopic about how to reduce the cost of logistics is the pop topics because of the importantposition of the logistics. On Real-time Physical Tracing System is a powerful tool andproduct of the economy age, it origins from its own demand. There is no doubt that theresearch of On Real-time Physical Tracing System can enrich the theory of the systemand promote the development of the subject. With the first-class idea, On Real-timePhysical Tracing System can adapt different circumstances and conquer the deficiencyof the system. It can track and manage the cargo on real-time and satisfy the demand ofthe company. Therefore, it has become one of most important technologies in modernphysical distribution system.In this thesis, by researching the techniques in the system, we design the platformfor On Real-time Physical Tracing System. The focuses are the real-time information’sgather、analysis、handling、inquiring、publishing, and carrier real-time monitoring.According to the characteristic of these terms, the whole system design is carried out.First,introducing a brief overview concepts and Function of the geographicinformation system (GIS), describing the collection, researching and development.And,introducing a component of GIS Technology.Second, through the research of the logistics sub-systems, designing the outline ofthe system, interface, user interface, data structure and algorithm.Third, building a platform for client management system,and describing theanalysis of the system needs, system design and database model system and the achieveto be functions.Finally, GIS is designed for real-time logistics information release system, andcarried out a detailed analysis system needs, outline design, the system’s databasesystem and model of the design process.
