A Securtiy Zigbee-Ethernet Lite Gateway Design

ZigBee is a short-range, low complexity, low power, low data rate, low-cost,two-way wireless communication technology which proposed in recent year’s.It ismainly applied in the field of automatic control and remote control, wireless networkingand its own purpose is meeting a small, inexpensive control equipment application.While Zigbee is growing flourish, the Internet still holds its mainstream position. Thehistory of Ethernet technology which from its birth to maturity, is the same historywhich the Ethernet gradually recognized and expand the application by variousindustries. Although the Ethernet is different from the Zigbee network, both of themplay implant role in our society, and more implant in future years as the applicationpopularizing.As a communication bridge between the two different networks, ZigBee-EthernetGateway has important significance to the sustained development of the two networks.To Ethernet, the ZigBee-Ethernet Gateway could expand the range to small miniature,low-power device coverage; To ZigBee, it provides an easy way to communicate withcomputer, Ethernet and so on.This thesis tends to work on such point of view above, absorbs the experiments ofexisting ZigBee-Ethernet Gateway designs, research on the interface standard, theimprovement of hardware design and the data protecting. The main work includes:Analyzed recent research on ZigBee-Ethernet Gateway, envisaged the data safeZigbee-Ethernet thin gateway.Listed existing relevant theory and technology as well as equipment.Designed the Zigbee-Ethernet gateway hardware and software frameworkstructure.Completed the Zigbee-Ethernet gateway hardware and software frameworkstructure according to the design. Including: TCP/IP protocol stack, USB hoststack, HTTP embedded server, Zigbee (2004version) protocol stack internalprogram modules.Solved Online debugging problems: USB embedded host stack transplantation driver defects found in communication with PL-2303HX,resolved byreprogramming drivers.
