Wang Mo is a well-known philologist in the Qianjia Period of the Qing Dynasty.He learned with his father since childhood. When he was youth, he learned with poetShen Lan. Then he was awarded the Jinshi degree in the reign of Qianlong.Herejected to be a county official, and assumed the office of Jianchang.He compiled andsorted out ancient books and wrote scholarly works,having many achievements. WangMo compiled Jiangxi Kaogu Lu and Yu Zhang Shidai Wenxian Lue in youth. When hewas an official,he wrote Shisan Jing Ce An and Reading. HanWeiYishuChao andHanTang geography books are the most important Collenction books.The important contribution for Wang Mo is he collected a large number ofliteratures that have been Disappearing, the number of these books are also veryimpressive. He retrieved Hanwei Yishu Chao up to over500kinds and108kinds inCanons had been published. Published by Cheng Rong engraved only38kinds ofbooks. After collecting data, Wang Mo had increased the number to86kinds, thenincreased to94kinds. During collecting ancient books, Wang Mo recognized theimportance of the ancient geography books, so he compiled two of Han TangDynasties geography books notes code8,about500species.The local literature and examination information that he edited should be clearlyknown.Jiangxi Kaogu Lu and Yu Zhang Shidai Wenxian Lue had saved the ancienthumanities data in Jiangxi,slightly to make up for the lack of Jiangxi Annals.Theself-study and practical teaching learning materials and experience saved in Jiangxiprovince.ShisanJingCeAn and Reading cited have direct helps for students to preparethe civil service examinations.In this paper, the fundamentals of something that Wang Mo Contributions toancient books, particularly for his biography,books,the work of addendums,thoughtsand academic documents, attempts to investigate his position and limitation. The fulltext divides into four major parts:First, biography and thoughts research; Second,addendums and achievements;Third, editing of local documents and learningmaterials;Fourth,evaluation.
