Broadband Wireless Access is the basis of informational society, and it has a widemarket. So, wireless LAN has become a hot research topic for its unique advantages:1.Cheap end-products price makes it the most effective substitute transmission mode forwireless transmission.2. Abundant frequency spectrum resources:the bandwidth of eachchannel in802.11b/g is22MHz while the cellular network only has3.8MHz.3.Broadband access: The speed of physical layer in802.11n is540Mbit/s, and the speedof802.11ac/ad is1Gbit/s. Thus, wireless LAN develops quickly, and the WiFi chipsethas a dramatic increase in sales. However, wireless LAN is faced with the following challenges:1, limited coveragearea;2, the lack of load balancing mechanism in dense traffic condition decrease theresource utilization rate and broadband access ability of WLAN. Towards theseproblems, A load balancing solution for Multiple-Hop Multiple-Channels WLAN,MM-WLAN, is presented. This mechanism uses multiple hop to change the access ofnodes, evenly distribute AP resources, and it use the dynamic configuration mechanismof multiple channel to reduce, or avoid interference, increasing the rate of resourceusage. In the end, this paper constructs a Linux-based multiple nodes network to verifythe validity and reliability of this solution. In order to better present the platform, aplatform interface is programmed through the usage of Qt, which makes the demoplatform more concrete and intuitive.
