Under today’s digital background, DSP with its high performance andsoftware-programmable features has become one of the fastest growing product inelectronics industry. Multi-processor and multi-core programming issues have been puton the programmers’ schedule. In addition, with the ever increasing volume andcomplexity of current signal processing system, the corresponding softwaredevelopment and verification have become more difficult and complex, both the systemdevelopment cycle and cost are also greatly prolonged. Traditional DSP softwaredevelopment process can not meet our needs any more.This article describes the universal radar signal processing visualization platformfor DSP project through a modular approach. That Code can be generated in a fewseconds by this modular approach will greatly facilitate the development process. In thepaper, an actual project is realized by the platform which can clearly verify thefeasibility and correctness of the platform.The platform which is integrated with model building, code generation, timinganalysis and online debugging can greatly facilitate the users’ development process.Especially in the field of multi-task and multi-processor, the superiority is obviously.The modular feature of the platform makes the signal processing software programmingindependent of harware structure. This may greatly reduce the development cycle ofDSP programing and also the system maintenance and upgrading will be moreconvenient.
