With the improving of production level and using requirements of special typetube, the higher requirements for measurement of its static parameters are raised.Because our current measurement equipment can not meet the demand, it is of greatvalue in engineering for us to develop a set of special type tube measuring device whichis high in precision, efficiency and automation. This paper presents some keytechnology which occurs in the research of the camber of special tube.Firstly, the principle and structure of the researched curvature measurementsystem are introduced, and the key technology that we faced in the development issummarized.Secondly, the analysis of the crawler carrier structure and motion parameters arepresented, as the PID control algorithm is applied, the precision of the carrierpositioning is improved; the distributed LED light source which can provide uniformillumination on the target is also stated.Then, after the analysis of the noise origin in images and the emulation for thedifferent denoise algorithms, a denoise method of capturing images suiting to specialimaging environment is selected. General analyzed the advantage and disadvantage ofthe different image enhancement methods, an image enhancement method is putforward for the special target image of the system. Analyzed the different imagedivision methods, finally a method fitting for the system is selected.And then, after the in-depth analysis of the distortion origin and effect, threedistortion correction methods are introduced, a image interpretation method for grayreconstruction after distortion correction is introduced, the result shows that threedistortion correction methods all can improve the measurement degree of the system.At last, some problems in the system are in-depth analyzed, and the direction ofthe following research is prospected.
