Today’s society has entered the information age. In order to achieve a higher security, theuse of more complex for the password is the popular choice, however, this presents people’swork and lives of a lot of inconvenience. Fingerprint authentication is carried out at a safeand convenient confidential way, in some areas of confidentiality has been widely used. Now it’s many different types of Biometric identification technology, but automaticfingerprint identification technology is one of the most widely used. It generally includes afingerprint image pre-pretreatment in front; feature extraction in mid;features to match, thethree main stages. Pre-pretreatment also is divided into: fingerprint segmentation, fingerprintenhancement, fingerprint refine the three aspects. This article focuses on the fingerprintenhancement and features to match. In order to realize the fingerprints enhancement in my Graduation Project,I haveproposed two algorithms, One fingerprint image enhancement algorithm is based on a Gaborfilter, The problems, such as empty, broken, etc. have been resolved very well. Anotherfingerprint image enhancement method is based on the direction filter. The processing speedof this method is very fast,at the same time the ability to remove the noise and repair theempty noise, fracture is also very good. Ant algorithm using cluster capacity, fingerprintthinning on the new method. The algorithm is based on the characteristics of the fingerprintimage, through the ant colony cluster points,to be effective for multiple fingerprintidentification. In the design, it uses MATLAB programming to achieve the three algorithms, andcompare the treatment effect.
