The linear CCD is more and more used in military field、industrial field detection and other high level applications because of its advantages in wide field of view、fast scanning speed and higher resolution. The linear array CCD imaging system based on FPGA requires real-time target information collection, therefore there is a very a high standard in device selection、driving clock、signal processing circuit design of each part and debugging of communication interface.We discuss related technology of linear array imaging system in this design. There are mainly several aspects as following:structure unit and working mechanism of CCD image sensor, processing technology for output signal and transmission mode of data after ADC and so on. We develop the linear array imaging system based on FPGA according to the design requirements of cooperation. We use discrete components to achieve output signal processing of CCD、related double sampling、variable gain adjustment and14Bit precision of analog to digital conversion in system design. Finally the converted data is sent to PC for image reduction through FPGA and camera link interface. We make the timing driven、clock required by each part of circuit and communication interface control with EP1C6Q24C08which is low-end product of ALTERA.The board level testing shows that, system has reached the expected target. Compared with the traditional linear array imaging system, this system has higher performance in portability、control、transmission rate and makes a solid foundation for higher development of imaging system.
