The fiber optical applied to communications, bring the field of this rapid development. In recent years many national consciousness to optical fiber, the superiority of the fiber optical applied to bring a sensor in the wide range of scientific and technological progress. Optical fiber’s unique characteristics make optical fiber sensor in biomedical fields also have larger development space, but due to some factors that limit the optical fiber sensor in biomedical application are not a wide range of promotion, more not commercialization. This paper mainly introduced the optical fiber sensor in breathing, blood flow, temperature and blood pressure the application of physiological parameters, and formed the measurement system can be mentioned as the efficiency of hope hospital. As we strict requirement of medical signal, optical fiber sensors with its unique advantages come into the public’s field of vision. Its medical signal nondestructive accurate measurements by the biological medicine widely loved. In the future development of optical fiber sensor will be along with the computer technology and the development of the optical technology in medical applications coming to the forefront.
