Along with the quality of the3G network is improving, GPRS business is becoming a new focus business in ShanXI Unicom Network Communications Co,Ltd. How quickly and effectively to improve the quality of the GPRS network to provide strong back-office support and protection so as to vigorously develop the GPRS service and how quickly and effectively to enhance customer satisfaction in order to increase user stickiness, they are becoming the two major points that ShanXIUnicom Network Communications Co,Ltd is concerning. But at the present the means that the operators maintain the GPRS packet network equipments is single, most of network managemet systems are mainly focusing on the performances and alarms of network equipments.they can not handle the issues about users,for example, the analysis of user behaviors,the analysis of service quality and handling user’s complaints. These have led to a series of questions,for example,the background can’t provide comprehensive and detailed theoretical data fo rthe front in business development plan. In order to solve these problems,at the same time to effectively implement the spirit in the relevant documents of the Ministry of Industry, ShanXI Unicom Network Communications Co,Ltd decided to build a mobile packet domain signaling monitoring system.This article has been divided into five parts:The first part describes the basic knowleges of GPRS technology,for example,GPRS architecture、network interface、protocol and user access process、the second part describes the present situations of GPRS network and signaling mornitoring systems in ShanXI Unicom Network Communications Co,Ltd. The third part first describes the necessaties to construct the ShanXi Unicom mobile paket domain signal mornitoring system,next describles the construction scale of the current project.The Ⅳ part designs in detail the architechtures of this system,including the overall deploy、the hardware architecture、the software architecture. The Ⅴ part, on the basises of the system function architecture and the requirement to analyze the protocols,puts forward in detail the needs of the business functions in this current project, the Ⅵ part describes a detailed designment of this engineer, including the remote site construction program, the central station building program, the network organization scheme, time synchronization, the system interface.the Ⅶ part summaries the overall test result of the current project and representatively lists some test programs and test results. The Ⅷ part comprehensively assesses the operation effects of the system and simply summaries the writing process of this paper.
