Generalized Chebyshev filter has high power capacity, high selectivity, highfrequency characteristics of the rectangular coefficient, it also can be formed bymultiple frequency filter. Generalized Chebyshev filter is widely used in various typesof microwave and millimeter wave system. In addition, due to a symmetric orasymmetric out-of-band rejection of Generalized Chebyshev filter can be realized, and italso has high selectivity, so the Generalized Chebyshev filter has big flexibility indesigning, calculation and simulation. The current domestic and foreign researchscholars focus on Generalized Chebyshev filter.This paper mainly from the following several aspects introduced the highperformance microwave duplexer:1. Introduction status quo and development trend of development of GeneralizedChebyshev filter and duplexer.2. Analyzed different structure types of cross coupled filter, choosed a suitable forthe project of the cross coupled structure.3. Introduced the Generalized Chebyshev function filter synthesis method, usingthe rotation matrix method on the prototype coupling matrix simplification andtransformation, are physically realizable topological structure, discusses the selection ofzero point method.4. Designed a different frequency transmission zeros of Generalized Chebyshevfilter, using T joint cascade, and finally achieved the high performance microwaveduplexer.The test results showed that this design is correct, reasonable and feasible.Through the series work, this study was successfully completed.
