In recent years, Satellite navigation terminals have become the focus of manyresearch institutes and large enterprise, which plays a very important role in the defenseand civilian fields. China is also developing its own satellite navigation system, the BDsatellite navigation system; and it has now developed the second generation. Thefront-end of the RF receiver is one of the important components of the satellitenavigation system, it mainly decides the signal to noise ratio of the received signal. Sothe development of the front-end of the satellite navigation receiver has far-reachingsignificance to the satellite navigation system of China.A multi-channel front-end of RF receiver is manufactured in this dissertation. In RFreceiver system,multi-channel has the advantages of gain and phase consistency whilekeeping minimum group delay in single channel. The mainly researches of this paperare as follows:1. Frame of the receiver is analyzed. The same amplifiers are used to keepmulti-channel gain consistency while the π attention is used to maintain the magnitudeconsistency.2. The whole circuits of the system is simulated after analyzing the affect of theactive circuits, the capacitor, the microstrip transmission line and the filter to phase.According to the simulation results, filter is the main factor that impact phase of thesystem. So the method of using the linear phase filter is proposed to maintain themulti-channel the same phase and the single channel the minimum group delay.3. According to the desires of the system, the devices and index is choosed to realizethe key parts of the front-end such as low-noise amplifier; frequency source and filter.According to the analysis previous, the linear phase filter is analyzed and designed.4. The problems occur during designing of the receiver are analyzed withexperiments, Performance of the receiver is greatly increased after optimizing thecavity.
