In the21st century, man-machine communication has witnessed the tremendous changes, brings the touch-screen technology a rapid development times. Touch screen technology is loved by the majority of users because it enables the users to get rid of the traditional input-devices, such as mouses and keyboards. Different ways of locating determine the different types of touch screens. However, existing mainstream touch screen systems exist a common flaw:they limit the distance of man-machine interaction. So the man-machine non-contact interaction technology has become a competing research focus all of the world.Be different with the traditional detection and location technology, this article proposed using the image detection and procession technology to solve the problem of locating operation-points, using laser spots to drive the cursor’s movements, and using a wireless transceiver module to simulate a variety of mouse action. This article realized the non-contact touch function ultimately. In this article, the working principle of this system, the software development environment and the imaging-processing platform were described firstly. Afterwards, the methods of driving cursor movements and drawing operations were summarized. In chapter3, the design of the laser pen and the development process of software were introduced. And then, the theories of image detection technology and the laser spot location algorithm were showed, the simulation work were conducted. At last, from three angles of the spot location accuracy, time complexity and location effects of the blocking spot, we selected the appropriate location algorithm for this system. In the end of this article, we tested the system’s performance, summarized the shortcomings of the software system, and pointed out the direction of further research.
