Water information management system using modern technology, the informationon the water, programs and plans, construction of basic information needed to providethe necessary large number of technical support to improve water informationmanagement level work, according to the need to keep to the leadership of accurate,timely and comprehensive Fully to provide information for water management providethe basis for scientific decision-making to achieve water management information, willbe the level of hydraulic engineering and information management to a new level.Firstly, on water management information system functional requirements andperformance needs analysis, elaborated on this basis, the operation of watermanagement information system model, and discusses the B/S model’s basic conceptsand design in this article used by water management information system Technologies:object-oriented technology, database and data mining technology described separately;Second, the study of the overall water management information system structure andfunction, and to the system’s main function modules: login module, project management,construction management, image control Functional design and system managementmodule, and system UML modeling, design, system structure and data system, then thefunctional requirements for system design, the design of the Water InformationManagement System database.Finally, hardware and software platform had been selected for systemimplementation, introducing the login module, module project management,construction management module, the image control module and system managementmodule design and implementation process.The technical difficulties of the functionalmodule had been discussed,and tested the features and performance of informationmanagement systems on water.This thesis had a certain amount of theoretical andpractical value about information technology for water resources development.
