The Telemedicine adopts modern computer technology, communication technology, information processing technology and medical technology, which has a promisingapplication prospects. The paper analyses the development of wireless remote medicalmonitoring system, and designs a model for the remote medical monitoring system, which has five parts, respectively are physiological monitor terminals, smart mobileterminals, IOCP-based network communications server, database, monitoring centersoftware and client. Physiological monitor terminals collect physiological data andsend it to smart mobile by wireless communication networks. The smart mobileterminal analyses and sends the physiological data to the monitoring center by GPRS orWi-Fi. The doctor and the patient’s family can perform real-time monitoring on patient’shealth by the monitoring center software and the client. This paper focuses on the design and implementation of remote monitoringsoftware server platform, and studies the service model of remote medical monitoringsystem. And to design a high-performance network communications server which basedon IOCP mechanism and multi-threading technology is very important. Monitoringcenter can perform real-time display and analysis patient’s physiological data to helpdoctors execute the remote diagnostics. Monitoring center software and the clients canprovide patients with the intuitive, location-based services and a full range of custodyservices by Google Maps, and also provide timely relief for the patient when the patientabnormal. Monitoring center software can manage all online terminals according toinstruction, such as data acquisition frequency, emergency warning. The service platform can make some chronic patients treated in a familiar place, which reduces patients’ psychological pressure and the economic burden on the patient’sfamily, conducive to the rehabilitation of patients. On the other hand, it effectivelyextends the range of hospital services, and improves the hospital’s medical ability tomeet the requirements of the social health care.
