As the development of wireless communication, people put forward higher requirements on wireless transceiver system. MIMO technology means using multi-antenna structure in both transmitter and receiver part of a wireless communication system. Spectral efficiency can be improved and channel capacity can be increased by using MIMO technology, so it is widely used in wireless transceiver system. The RF front-end is an important part of wireless communication system, its performance has a direct impact on transceiver.In this thesis, a design of wireless communication system transmitter based on MIMO technology is studied, and the transceiver system is using a4X4MIMO. In this paper, we first make a brief introduction of MIMO technology and the importance of RF front-end design.Then, the basic theory of wireless transmitter system is briefly described, several common used structure of transmitter is introduced, the performance of different structure is introduced and analyzed.Moreover, the design of the system is proposed according to the requirements of the project and the proper device is chosen. In the hardware, the main module of transmitter is introduced, including the control of dynamic range, the adjustment of phase coherent, RF switch, power splitter, mixer, power amplifier and filter, a brief description of chosen device is made, then the schematic and PCB of the system is finished.Finally, we introduce the test process and results, then analysis the testing result, corresponding improvement is proposed according to the testing results.
