With the development of modern transportation and the advancement of science and technology, also the standard of people’s living is in the event of major changes, at the same time number of private cars is also steadily increasing, and increasingly intelligent. But it is accompanied by the road of the congestion and accidents occur frequently, this has serious implications for the safety of their lives. There is a show that result in rear collision, such as car accidents, mainly because it is the distance between two vehicles too close. In order to solve the problems of distance on the cars to avoid or minimize such traffic accidents, the subject matter presented in sensor technology is also research and analysis of the Smart car evasive system.The system is designed using the sensors to design car obstacle avoidance system. First in research situations at home and abroad, design the programme for demonstration of obstacle avoidance system, mainly on detection the motor drive system for the detailed argument. at the same time describes the programme of each module and the system as a whole. Secondly, completed the main part of the smart car, hardware design of parts in detail. Hardware includes:System main control part, drive unit parts, display unit design, avoid obstructions unit detection circuit design, circuit design and motor control. Once more, this article is detail designed the software part of the Avoidance System, in the software design, the system flow and the algorithm design was the main body part.Finally, after completes the software and hardware design, carries on the test to the system, in which mainly is tests the method the application and the test result analysis.This system also acts according to the car travel the environment characteristic, but also realizes the car to evade automatically bonds, the quick slow travel, as well as the automatic stop, and may the automatic recording time, the course and the speed, functions and so on target homing mark.It mainly is in order to enable the pilot to avoid the obstacle safely.
