Design Of Smart Home System Based On Internet And Gsm Networks

With the development of technology and the continuous improvement of People’s living quality, People turn to pay high attention on life’s convenience, security and comfort etc. Smart Home will be trend of modern housing. Smart Home is the system which takes the advantage of computer and telecommunication technology to combine all the domestic electrical appliances together, on the one hand, it can realize the intelligent management to the domestic electrical appliances; on the other hand, it can also achieve the home environment safety.This paper introduces the research status of Smart Home all over the world firstly, and point out the problems about Smart Home in china recently, then confirm the topic of the research. Finally, A Smart Home system based on INTERNET and GSM networks is designed.In the hardware design, we use STC89C52single-chip computer as the core controller of the system, TC35I selected as the long range data transmission GSM module, RTL8019AS selected to design the chip Ethernet module, in order to achieve the user through the INTERNET network to the remote home monitoring, NRF24L01wireless transceiver module selected to form the wireless network at home, and the terminal control circuit is designed to realize a variety of control functions.In the software design, we introduce the transplant and application of μC/OS-Ⅱoperating system and Ethernet protocol stack ZLG/IP on the processor, complete the preparation of the hardware drivers and the task-level applications according to the idea of structured programming.The system designed in this dissertation successfully realizes the user’s remote monitoring through the INTERNET and GSM network, and the system meets the design requirements, besides, we can also extend it to meet the higher demand of users. Finally, The dissertation summarized the subject and presented the direction of improve and upgrade.
