How to effectively and accurately mining data, improve the data utilization andanalyze the usability of websites with a huge data, such as site map, pv(page view)and visitor behavior, has become difficult problems of modern site analysis and hotspots of theory research.This study has introduced visualization technology and method into usability andvisitor behavior analytics of websites, put up the visualization model of site map andestablished web data analysis system. The features of this system are that the levelstructure and main performance index of websites are showed globally andmeasurably, the usability problems existing in the site can be found more intuitively,data display and extraction can be controlled by the needs of the users, visualizationof access flows and access paths between the pages has been achieved. After testing,preliminary proves the system can help the operators and R&D personnel quicklyobtain the analytical results and find the usability problems from the mass data andfurther provide the basis for improving the sites.With a study on the reduction principle and cognitive model of visualization, thispaper develops a visual interactive design framework focus on user-center. Thisframework includes two aspects. One is the digital interaction, the conversion of datato visual graphics, it explore and research the structural design and visual mapping ofthe visualization. The other hand is the human-computer interaction, which isdesigned to provide users a comfortable and fluent operation experience. In the digitalinteraction research stage, with a study on the reduction principle and visualizationmethods of site map, we design and evaluate the visualization of the site map fromtwo aspects of the structural design and visual mapping, to complete the data displaytask and at the same time make visual effects satisfy the target of visualization. Inhuman-computer interaction research stage, we use three qualitative research methodsto build the target user model, such as user interview, user observation and literatureresearch. Then we investigate users’ demands for the web analytics, so as to establisha design framework of the web analytics system to meet user needs. Then, the articlepresents interactive applications based on the site map, and designs the user interfaceof the web analytics system. Through the analysis of each main function module ofthe web analytics system, we draw the information structure chart and key windows of the web analytics system, improve the layout of the user interface and interactiveoperation according to the users’ habits and task flow, take user tests by the testversion of the system, and quantitative evaluate the design scheme by using the userexperience honeycomb, and thus prove the feasibility and value of this researchproject.The main research results of this paper: visualization technology is used in webanalysis, by this way, the entire site map, pv, uv(unique visitor) and visitor behaviorcan be clearly shown. Web data analysis system is established form perspectives ofuser needs and visual design combined with data mining, visualization, designaesthetics, design psychology, color science, human-computer interaction and otherrelated disciplines.
