With the fast development and wide application of wireless communicationtechnology for many years, wireless communication has entered everywhere in people’sdaily life. As a key technology of wireless transmission, physics radio frequencychannel design technology also has a great development and breakthrough. As we know,users can’t operate the transceiver system conveniently and flexibly when RF front-endchannel has been built, such as switching the channel, adjusting attenuation device invarious channel, controlling PLL, DDS in the local frequency module fast, etc. Thesetasks need a fast and reliable control system to complete. In addition, the control systemalso needs to establish a good communication that connects to users’ PC platform toreceive all kinds of users’ control instruction. So a series of communication agreementand the construction of the communication links must be done.In this thesis the author introduced the development of modern wirelesscommunication history and present state firstly, in which MIMO technology andwireless transceiver technology are introduced deeply. Then the thesis introducedsystem function and main index of the RF analog front-end, radio channel scheme andsignal process, system data platform and digital control signal classification, andanalyzed the demands of system control.According to the demands of the system, the author designed the generalframework of the RF front-end control system. In the design the function of controlsystem, convenience and the efficiency of using resource have been consideredgenerally. The method of grading access and control has been adopted to control RFanalog front-end effectively. In the access solution, RF control system accessed theCPCI bus through a DSP, and each control subsystem was interconnected through theRS-485serial bus within the RF control system; In the control solution, due to thedifferences about demands of different RF control module, the method of gradingcontrol also has been adopted, making the goal of maximization in utilization efficiencyand the lowest cost about the radio frequency control system; The author also designed interactive solutions, systems initialization and self-testing in the master-slave controllercommunication.The author also made a detailed introduction about accomplishing, making anddebugging methods of RF control system, including the implementation method ofmany key function circuit in each control unit, the attention about making the circuit,and the main thought about the key function debugging, etc. Some design ideas andmethods of accomplishment in this thesis provide some valuable references forhigh-speed effective control in the modern wireless communication system.
