Based on the simulation technology, distributed computing technologynetwork technology and visualization technology, this thesis designs anddevelops a distributed simulation system called Distributed ModelingSimulation Platform. DMSP), and investigates the theory and designprinciples involved in the DMSP system architecture, modeling and modelimplementation of the process methods systematically.Benefited from the Model of distributed computing in distributed system,the DMSP system design and develop the system using the idea of thefastest-growing Client/Server (Client/Server) mode and the hierarchicaldesign involved in the current design of distributed systems, as well as theobject-oriented approach. The DMSP system has achieved the separationbetween the simulation system and network structure. The network structurefor the user designing the simulation tasks according to the simulationplatform is completely transparent.Furthermore, the separation between the simulation application platformand simulation tasks has been achieved, which means the simulation platformcan be designed for different areas of personnel. As a result, DMSP has manyexcellent characteristics, such as the capability of platform independence,reusability, reliability, portability and scalability.After analyzing deeply the needs of the DMSP system and combiningthe characteristics of the distributed network environment, this paper designsa viable network communication for the DMSP system and the simulationmodeling tool, and realizes DMSP system model simulation and schedulingstrategy. Finally, the design of the simulation task modeling to its distributedsimulation experiments are described for a practical simulation tasks, aimedto verify the correctness of the DMSP system and its methods of design anddevelopment.As the product of the combination of network technology and simulation technology, distributed modeling and simulation technology has become oneof the main ways to achieve large-scale complex system simulation. TheDMSP system designed in this paper is according to the specific needs of thesimulation. It has broad applications in system modeling design, feasibilitystudies, experiments, and related fields.
