Study Of Wireless Channel Characteristics And Channel Modeling Methods In High-Speed Environment

Wireless channel is not only the basis of wireless communication theoretical study, but also an essential aspect needed to be considered when designing a wireless communication system. Compared to fixed wireless communication system, mobile wireless communication system is more complicated. Then, different study and analysis methods are required in further study of the channel environment in mobile wireless communication system. Channel modeling is an effective way of studying wireless channel environment.High-speed mobility brings more difficulties to channel modeling, as complicated channel measurement methods and complex wireless channel characters. As a result, channel modeling in high-speed environment becomes a significant study field.In this paper, analysis of wireless channel is presented considering the problems brought by high-speed environment. Methods to build up a channel model, which means channel modeling after channel measurement, are proposed based on the analysis. In channel modeling, procedure of measurement data process and analysis is necessary and important. Then some algorithms of this procedure are discussed and demonstrated. Specifically, the author gives the detailed study of clustering algorithms. And an automatic clustering algorithm based on K-means is proposed and performance of the algorithm is evaluated to be effective and efficient.
