Research On Planning And Design For The Man Expansion Project Of Zhengzhou Mobile Telecom

In recent years, broadband access services and Internet value-added services are booming, and gradually into maturity in China. After the telecom restructuring, CMCC go into the broadband services market to foster broadband user group quickly, from each operational level compete with other telecom operators. Thus, the mobile division of the provinces in the group of companies build gradually the province’s the CMNET network and IP MAN under the guidance.But after years of operation, the question of network exposed gradually. The existing network routers, switches and BRASes cannot support the require of personalized services regardless of processing capacity, QOS, Multicast, VPN and other business functions. At the same time, IP MAN network coverage is too small and need to make up more points. It is needed to adopt advanced PON technology to expanding fiber optic coverage for insufficient cable resources. Therefore, this IP broadband metropolitan area network expansion planning and design is an inevitable choice.The thesis researched on the expansion project of Zhengzhou IP MAN of CMCC. The paper first introduces the status of IP MAN in Zhengzhou, analyzes and summarizes many of the current network bottleneck restricting, leads to the need for the expansion of IP MAN.Second, the thesis plan and design the IP MAN on the basis of the existing network. It is focus on the key point in the expansion project, combination the key technologies involved in the core network to the access layer, then plan and design the overall network for IP MAN including specific equipment selection.Finally, the thesis also analyzed and described the Zhengzhou IP MAN implementation of the typical service with the expansion project.
