Data acquisition is the foundation of the processing and the storage of the data. With the development of scientific technology and the continuous improvement of people’s living standard, data acquisition paly an more and more important part in daily life. The way of data acquisition also gradually form artificial record into automatic acquisition by application of electroic and communication technology and it is becoming more and more miniaturization and intelligent.Firstly,this paper briefly introduced the concept and classification of the data acquisition system, and then accord to some defects and shortcomings of the existing data acquisition system, puts forward a lower power consumption,low complexity, has the function of network data acquisition system design scheme.Firstly, the paper discuss the design of overall performance of the system.Then the disign and implementation of each module form hardward to software are discussed in detail.Finally in the conclusion of the work has been done,put forward the direction of the work in the future.In the design of the hardware,in order to reduce the power consumption of the system, it uses the the low power consumption,high performance MSP430F5438MCU landched by TI company as the main control chip of the system.With it’s buit-in sixteenchannel,twelve bit high precision ADC for data acquisition device,with the front signal regulate circuit. The collected data is sent to the center server through the SIM900A GPRS wirless module by GPRS networks after a simple treatment. In order to view and store the collected data conveniently, the system uses12864LCD as the display of the data and the HMI, and use the. SD card to be the local storage device of the data collected. Compared with existing data acquisition system, the system design has the following characteristics. First, the system is designed with low-power components in the design of the hardware,in order to fully reduce system power consumption, for high power components and peripherals, usd the software to control the supply of state when the device is in non-working state,the MCU is automatically cut off the power to reduce the power consumption of the overall system. The system is designed in the way of data transmission using the GPRS wireless data transmission, reduce the complexity of the system.
