Logistics information industry is one of the spread to the widest range of industries, which usually consists of raw material suppliers, corporate customers, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, a number of organizations, thus forming a supply chain. In the supply chain, enterprises are interrelated, interacted, interdependent, not isolated individuals. If we take the supply chain as a complete course conduct integrated management, and by sharing resources can avoid and reduce many time delay and waste of resources between its various elements, further reduce costs, and enable enterprises operating assets better and increase profits.In fact, at present many enterprises have adopted the popular ERP products on the market, or independently developed their own system according to the specified function of internal demand, which actually realize fine management for the part of business, but can’t get through the business processes of the logistics industry as a whole yet. Additionally, as the result of the difference of the architecture, data standards and interface inconsistencies between enterprises legacy systems, the traditional structure is difficult to achieve effective integration of resources, which leads to the lack of effective information sharing. Introducing the REST break deadlock of’Information Islands’and become the most feasibility selection in the enterprise integration solutions. By introducing the concept of abstract resource, REST simplify the system from the whole, which ensure that services are provided by the integrated platform are maxima decoupled, greatly improve the system’s flexibility, interactivity and reusability.This paper analyzes the current logistics information management system, for the deficiencies of logistics management system as well as needs for information integration, and discusses in detail to REST architecture style in logistics management information system research and integrated application. The paper, based on the existing system of heterogeneous resources and combining with REST architecture style, designs logistics information management integrated platform based on REST. The integrated platform take the resource model as the core, package resource that distributed in heterogeneous systems, and then encapsulating the resource service is registered to the resource integration platform for a unified management, thereby shielding the heterogeneous system differences between the data, finally achieve interoperability between heterogeneous resources by RESTful Web Service, thereby realization of seamless integration between heterogeneous systems. According to the sales system as an example, combining with the REST relevant key technology, realize the core module of the system model. The integrated platform full realize resource sharing among the departments and between the enterprises, improve efficiency of logistics operations and reduce logistics cost. Finally, this paper summarized the research work and pointed out the next research direction.
