Hechao And YimenDuShuJi

Hechao(1600-1722), firstly styled Runqian and later styled Qizhan, who was also known by his literary name Chaxian in his later years. He was born in Changzhou county, Jiangsu province. He was a famous scholar, calligrapher and Cang Shu Gu in the early Qing dynasty. He had many works, of which YimenDuShuJi was his whole painstaking care’s crystallization and also his scholarship’s ideas centralized embodiment.His achievement is largely emendated by his masterpiece, YimenDuShuJi, which included annotation, emendation and textual research stydy. In the aspect of annotation, which integrated it and the textual structure, he corrected mistakes and worded them down. He emphatically researched on the emendation and the textual research when the emperor carried out the Neo-confucianism in the early of the Qing dynasty who was a pioneer.Above all, Hechao had mang achievements in ideology of historical which integrated the emendation and the textual structure study. But he also had some limitations.
