How to better protect the safety of transmission lines is very important to the current building of optical communication networks. Currently, in many optical network protection mode, OLP gains broad application in rates high-speed brightness transmission net, with some characteristics as short switching time, a fast response, optics maintaining after power down, the transmission of data transparency and and so on, and it have attracted the academic and IT industry attention.According to the application requirements of the Inner Mongolia Unicom trunk transmission backbone business, This essay take a thorough study and analysis to optical line protection system, and designed a program for the actual system, achieved application.of the optical line protection technology in the transmission network.This work is as follows:1.
