With the rapid development of industrial technology. High quality and highefficiency are two important standards in production processing. In nowadays, theproduction method which is inefficient and straightforward can not satisfy the industrialrequirement, the primary tendency in the industry is Automation, intelligent and highprecision. The plane geometric constructed feature recognition system of precisionforming parts is introduced to replace the manual measurement which is still usd in manyfactories.Based on the research achievements of the machine vision technology and sensortechnology, the issue of the geometric feature recognition system of the blank based onmachine vision is resolved by the computer programming and camera positioningcalibration in this paper.Utilize the camera CCD and the portable DAQ card and other hardware to detect theimage of the target which is in the actual environment. Then, the use of Visual C++language and Visual Studio 2008 developed the research of the geometric featurerecognition system of the blank based on machine vision, debug each module and updatethe detail of the image, contrast all the arithmetic and then optimize the arithmetic. At last,the clear outline will be obtained. Based on these studies, choose the best arithmetic andedit them. To pick up the parameter of the blank.For the proceedings of the commissioning and optimize continuously, at last, thewhole geometric feature recognition system of the blank based on machine vision will beobtained. Combine the camera CCD and the computer and other hardware with therecognition program, we will have the whole system, and then, consider the actualenvironment and the illumination, make the physical experiments, which showed that thesystem operated stably and was high-precision. The superiority of this system iscontactless and high-precision.
