With the rapid development of information technology, virtue communities spring upand are becoming widely popular. That provides a new platform and way for enterprisesto obtain the information. This paper introduces the co-word analysis under thebackground of the virtue community, and tries to study the information in virtuecommunities in which normally people sharing the knowledge and experience, helpingenterprises to obtain the effective demand information in virtue communities.On the basis of reviewing correlation theories about virtue communities and co-wordanalysis, the paper tries to use co-word analysis in virtue communities to help enterprisesto obtain the effective demand information. In the study it analyzes the characteristics ofdemand information in virtue communities and gives the understanding bout effectivedemand information in the paper; then it proposes the ways to obtain the effectivedemand information in virtue communities based on co-word analysis.,i.e. according tothe normal process of co-word analysis, it explains the steps to obtain the effectivedemand information in virtue communities, however, as the specialty of virtuecommunities, it may exists the co-word analysis unsuccessful, it gets the framework ofeffective demand information in virtue communities on the basis of co-word analysis andgives the detailed explanations of the framework. Based on the analysis above, it proposesthe model of the acquisition of effective demand information in virtue communities basedon co-word analysis, and explains the model. As to the method in the model, the studycombines the co-word analysis with association analysis and cluster analysis. Finally itputs the model into the specific case and gets the conclusion and suggestion, providing anew method and way for enterprises to get effective demand information in virtuecommunities.
