Molding of personality is an important topic in todays education, which affectsthe healthy development of teenagers, social stability and national long-termdevelopment. Since ancient times, Chinese and western philosophers had mademany researches about “personality” deeply. Based on the present, the personalityeducation also need to be recommended stronger, especially to students of juniormiddle school. Among each subjects of leaning, Chinese for the personality moldinghas a unique advantage, which lies in knowledge, feelings and mind. This paperexplains the research of personality molding from three aspects: Chinese teachingabout personality education goal, the study content, and teachers duty. Finally, thispaper looks to the future about the development of personality education in ourcountry.
