Research On Exploitation Of Sports Tourism Resources In Tianshui

As a sports tourism emerging tourism form, sports tourism has the extremely realistic significance to tourism resources development to meet the common needs of people to travel and do sports. Sports tourism is a form of tourism according to the different people’s travelling purpose and classification. Its characteristic is different from the traditional sightseeing tourism. It deeply emphasizes on the quality of tourism activities, tourist experience and personality value. Sports tourism can promote and improve tourism industry and tourism activities. To study the development of sports tourism resource in Tianshui can meet the needs of people’s lives and promote the development of social economy, it can improve the development of tourism industry, and be conducive to the protection and inheritance of sports tourism culture in Tianshui.This study use the method of literature material, field survey, questionnaire survey, interview, mathematical statistics and logical analysis. The questionnaire mainly makes part of the crowd of five counties and two regions in Tianshui, and relevant personnel of sports and tourism departments as investigation object. It gains the masses understanding of the sports culture, sports tourism awareness, participation situation, attitudes and so on in Tianshui. It gains the cooperation situation of related departments, organization form and condition, and the situation of developed,being developed and undeveloped sports tourism resources. Thus it can get more comprehensive understanding about problems of the development of sports tourism resources in TianShui. It can provide more reliable theoretical basis for the development of sports tourism resources for TianShui city.The study draw the following conclusions through investigation and analysis:1. The unique cultural and geographical environment provides a good opportunity and platform for the development of sports tourism resources in Tianshui, it attracts more visitors from domestic and abroad to participate, makes them become the potential visitors and participants of sports tourism in TianShui.2. The sports tourism resources in Tianshui is in development stage, its main form is only to watch the performances. Its tourism value and market potential have not got enough development yet.3. In order to meet the needs of the tourists from domestic and abroad to understand sports tourism of Tianshui, it takes advantage of the Fuxi culture festival to carry forward the traditional culture, and focus on the development of sports tourism resources in Tianshui.4. It sets up characteristic folk sports tourism projects through the development of folk sports tourism spots and exsiting tourism spots, it bases on conventional sports tourism project. It uses a wide range of publicity and creates special line of sports tourism to promote the sustainable development of sports tourism in Tianshui.
