The main topic of this study is about college students’biased attitude and behavior towards those with disabilities and the way of how to change them. This paper tries to describe and represent the characteristics of the improper attitude and behavior, find out the relevant elements to which the biased attitude and behavior can be attributed, and explore the ways of intervention leading to attitude, recognition and behavior change.Experiment conducted in a group is employed as the methodology of the research, and thus the group work is also taken as the method to intervene and change the attitude and behavior of the target group.Thexesearch finds that the social model of disability, and its application in society, i.e., social environment is the most important variable in determining people’s attitude and behavior to those with disabilities, and a disability-friendly environment is thus the key point for attitude and behavior change. The so called disability-friendly environment is discussed and represented in detail in this thesis and the process of intervention, i.e., group work designed for this research is represented; and strategies of attitude and behavior change is demonstrated, too.
