With the rapid development of competitive levels and the application of advanced training skills in physical training and competition, the traditional theories and training skills can not meet the demand of strength training. Therefore, it is necessary to find a new way to develope the strength of athletes. Under this background, this paper proposes the modern strength training theory(core strength training, hanging strength training, vibration strength training and functional strength training). We hope this paper can provide a theoretical foundation for modern strength training and offer some suggestions for the athletes and coaches.This research have used expert consulting method, paper investigation method and meta-analysis method comprehensively to collect data about modern strength training. Moreover, focused on the combining theory with practice, this research systematically summarizes the concepts, methods and usage of modern strength training as well as proposes new modern strength training methods that compensate for the shortages of traditional training methods. This research has analyzed and testified the new modern strength training methods.The main conclusions:First, the modern strength training different from the traditional strength training, because the modern strength training adds the "unsteadiness" factor.Second, based on the traditional strength training, the modern strength training emphasizes developing the core strength of the human bodies (core stability, core strength exportation, Neural control capability, development of deep muscles and arthrosis muscles, and coordinate effort of the whole body). The modern strength training combines core strength training, hanging strength training, vibration strength training and functional strength training to develop strength.Third, collecting and summarizing the related52researches, this paper analyzes the forest plot element to demonstrate that the modern strength training promotes the core strength significantly. The strength exportation from the core era to the limbs mainly display the improvement of core strength. Forth, the modern strength training is a significant path to develop strength of athletes of various sports items. It is also an important method to improve the qualities of athletes’ actions and stimulate muscle of the whole body to coordinate to performance better. Moreover, it promotes the internationalization of motion level, the increase of efficiency of the motion capabilities and accuracy of skill motion, and the improvement of coordination capability and controlling force.Fifth, the modern strength training mainly includes core strength training, hanging strength training, vibration strength training and functional strength training. The modern strength training also has some specific training methods, such as unstable static support, unstable dynamic support and etc. In the training arrangement, the modern strength training use those methods:repetition, continuance, transformation and etc.
