The Research On The Influence Values Of The Egoist Ideologyupon The Contemporary College Students’ Values

The college students’ ideological education is a hot topic that people oftentalk about in the long term. Meanwhile, the study and development ofideological education is changing as time goes by. Recently, as a kind of socialconsciousness, the western egoism has been affecting people’s thoughts in ourcountry. The contemporary college students, as part of the important reserve oftalent group, have been influenced by the western egoism. Many collegestudents have also had a tendency of egoism. The college students are thesocialist successors in the new century, and they are the important reserve forcerevitalize the Chinese nation. The college students’ ideas are closely linked withthe future and destiny of our country. Therefore, adopting effective measures tocorrect the college students’ egoist tendency is a must in such a circumstance.This thesis consists of three parts. In the first part, the author illustrates thethought origin and social basis of the egoist ideology, and thereby, induce thebasic characteristics of egoism. In the second part, the author states the differentforms of the college students’ egoist tendency by observing their thoughts and behaviors, and analyze the reasons for the contemporary college students’ egoisttendency from the fields such as social economy, ideology and culture, as wellas education. On the other hand, the college students’ own subjective factors areamong the reasons of affecting their egoist tendency. In the third part, the authordemonstrates the proper policies and suggestions detailedly on the basis of theanalysis above to overcome the college students’ egoist tendency and guidethem to establish right individual ideology and socialist core values.The major policies in this thesis can be divided into five. The thirst aspectis about strengthening the college students’ education of socialist core values,firming their ideal and faith, setting up lofty ideological beliefs, and adhering tothe ideological guidance with scientific theory. The second is about providingthem with a nice learning and living environment in order to eliminate theiregoist tendency from space. The third is about changing the traditional ideas ofideological education to overcome their egoist tendency effectively. The fourthis about enhancing their moral education against their egoist tendency. The lastis about improving the vehicles of the ideological education and taking various means to fight against their egoist tendency.
