This thesis is talking about the effect of body exists and social group interaction on gender identity of adolescent girls, and investigate the relationship of the three factors.The body developments inspire the awareness of female identity, the gender differences between female and male and promote the sexual psychology.Adolescent girls’gender identity is shaped by the expectation of adolescent boys, the comparison between female partners, the preconception and bias of parents and teachers and the popular culture that base on body exists.Adolescent girls have relatively low level identity of their physiological gender and have no precise understanding of the female gender role such like’mother’ and ’wife’ and the relationship with male gender role. It’s a complex process that reflected as a’mirror effect’Reduce the gender identity and take some cognitive and behavioral interventions in class are the effective and feasible methods to promote constructive gender identity of adolescent girls.
