In High School Chemistry Teaching To Cultivate Students The Practice Of The Concept Of Sustainable Development Research

Sustainable development has been accepted, and become scientific literacy of every citizen to adapt to the future survival and development in the new century. The cultivation of the students’ concept of sustainable development, has become the new curriculum standard basic demand in chemistry teaching.This paper puts forward the topic of cultivating students’ concept of sustainable development in chemistry teaching, describes the importance of training students for sustainable development concept and related theories. The sustainable development education has been naturally carried out in chemistry teaching, chemistry experiments and extra-curricular practice. Students have been developed good awareness of sustainable development, in high school students gradually formed a habit of thinking about and solving problems from the perspective of sustainable development. Students have been developed the responsibility of sustainable social development.In order to study the effect of sustainable development education for students, we have carried out activities of sustainable development education for a year. Using activity behave estimate and questionnaire surveys of students, we have examined students’ knowledge, consciousness and behavior of sustainable development. The results show that education on sustainable development to students in chemistry teaching can enhance students ’environmental awareness through environmental knowledge, elements compounds teaching, experimental teaching, comprehensive practical activities such as a variety of ways, not only to develop students’ concept of sustainable development, but also to enhance students’ sense of social responsibility and improve the academic performance of chemistn...
