In recent years, teachers’ professional development is one of the hot issues which is the international education focus on. But, through the investigation and document retrieval we can find that the study and practice of teachers’ professional development is mainly focus on middle and primary school education field. In fact, higher school teacher professional development problem at present is far from education department and the university management pay enough attention to.The teaching certificate or teaching skill training work are not only the separation of learning to the state, but also because of its superficial and can’t be real centralized effectively improve college teachers’ teaching professional skills and education theory attainment, can’t will know to cultivate and teacher education of professional disciplines for the organic integration of unity, it is largely restricted the university teachers’ professional sustainable development problems. Higher school of teachers’ professional development mode integration research subject, it is in view of the current our country college teachers’ professional development of the reality and practical need, proposed by widely survey, the analysis and argument, puts forward a set of set authentication, teaching qualification of teachers education literacy skills training, training and teaching scientific research ability development in one of the integration development model type dynamic and strategic plan, on the one hand, about the formation of teachers’ professional development systematic theory frame, on the other hand is more important, promoting college teachers’ professional development work practice effectively, Chinese higher education and to ensure teaching quality stability, health, continued ascension.The main content of this article include:the first part is the introduction, including the research background, research status, the research content and meaning. The second part summarizes the theory and the status quo about college teachers’ professional development, and Points out that college teachers’ professional development dilemma, including disunity of teachers’ qualification authentication standard, heavy scientific research and light teaching, degree replace education teaching literacy, insufficient of teacher’s morality education, personal professional development superior to group, etc. The third part is the focus of this paper, constructing theoretical model about college teachers’ professional development.
