Class discussion teaching has a long history, is both modern education concept of a kind of teaching way advocated, China is the new basic education curriculum reform advocate of a kind of teaching mode. In recent years more and more in-depth research on it, each scholars from different points of view of the class discussion is discussed and have made abundant achievements. It is wide used in foreign countries and practice, such as the United States, and many countries apply it to the foundation education classroom teaching practice, become the contemporary mainstream teaching theory and strategy of one. Along with the new curriculum reform, class discussion in high school in the thought political lesson get different degrees of use, class discussion is not only a kind of teaching method, also is a kind of classroom form. In the inquiry learning, learning plan guided learning, cooperative learning group and study way, the class discussions are indispensable classroom presentation styles. In theory, a class discussion in high school in the thought political lesson use, can deepen the students’understanding of knowledge, develop the students’ability to explore, cooperation ability and team consciousness, promote socialization growth, to form the correct world outlook, the outlook on life and values, so as to realize the value of the thought political lesson. Through literature study, classroom observation and interviews to find that the present relevant class discussion of the use of which has made some achievements, but in practice and did not achieve the desired effect. Many scholars in class discussion attribute the organization is not reasonable, the topic of discussion will not appropriate, and class discussions, students are not well controlled poor cooperation consciousness, and in practice improvement. The author thinks that, class discussion in the put in this problem, from deep speak, because of the insufficient understanding of classroom discussion: pay attention to discuss organization form and neglected the communication; Pay attention to cooperation between students, and neglected the communication between teachers and students; Pay attention to the content of the discussion, and ignored the expression of the discussion.
