The world is changing faster and faster to update its knowledge. Science and technology areprimary productive forces, so the competition between countries is essentially the competition ofknowledge and education. In this context, the countries of the world are increased spending oneducation. In the 2012 government work report, premier Wen jiabao pointed out that thoroughlyimplementing the strategies of developing China through science and education andstrengthening the country trough human resource development.Chinese education has been the focus of basic education reform. At the end of the twentiethcentury, Chinese education discussion has gradually silent, which caused the beginning of basiceducation reform in the new century. The reform of basic education has been carried out morethan ten years, and a new round of education reform in the brewing. At this time, we shouldconscientiously sum up the education reform and promote the development of languageeducation in the reflection.Chinese textbook is the carrier of Chinese education and it contacts the teachers and thestudents. Chinese textbook will have a direct impact on education effect; therefore, it willbecome the object of criticism in the previous Chinese education debate. Chinese textbook hasbeen using the selected mode, namely the selected text is the core of the textbook, supplementedby reading guidance, notes, exercises, etc. Since the founding of China, the developing originalmaterial of Chinese is based on the“teaching syllabus”and it selected the model essay with theprinciple of thoughtful, exemplary, time and the acceptability. In order to conform to the trend ofthe times, Chinese teaching materials should also learn and absorb foreign advanced culture andbuild a wide range of text selection standards. The compulsory education Chinese curriculumstandard (experimental manuscript) was issued in 2001. It is pointed out clearly that the basiccharacteristic of Chinese course is the unity of instrumentality and humanity, so humanisticconcept is prominent and the literary works were dramatically increased in the textbook. The author will analyze the text selection system of Chinese textbook for junior high school, basedon the new curriculum standard and the principle of text selection and used the methods ofcomparative, content analysis and so on. The author hope to get some beneficial enlightenmentrelated to first-line teaching and developing original material.This thesis is divided into four parts. The first part is introduction; it mainly introduces thecause of topic selection, research methods, research significance and achievements. The secondpart summarized the requirements of selected article according to new curriculum standard,pursuant to summarize the six principles, namely ideological, exemplary, time, acceptability,pluralism and openness. And in this part, the author also analyzes the changes of selected articlesystem after the reform of curriculum. The third part briefly analyzes the unit compiled of theselection materials. This set of textbooks had 36 units, based on the theme to compile the unit.The seventh grade took the methods of collaboration for ancient selected article and modernselected article. While the eighth and ninth grade took the method of classification andcataloging. The author intends to study selected text according to the time points that divides intoancient and modern two parts. The work of each time will be subdivided based on the type ofstyle. The ancient works divides into three types, that is the classical Chinese, the ancientvernacular novel and the ancient poetry. While the modern works are classified according toparticle style and literary style. The fourth part compared and analyzed the difference of selectedtext system between the first edition and the second edition, and listed the title of selected textwhich is deleted. At last, it explored the reasons for change of the selected text.
