As one of the Chinese traditional fitness projects, Tai Chi Chuan hasalready been spread all over the world. In recent years, with the rapidgrowth of China’s economy, culture and communication exchanges havebecome increasingly rich and colorful, and foreign students in anincreasing number of apparent. Especially many domestic minorities inXinjiang and people in the Central Asia have a profound historical origin,for instance, the same religious beliefs, customs, and cultural tradition.The low study cost formed by its geopolitical conditions making Xinjiangthe first place for students of the Central Asian countries choose to study.There are many colleges and universities in the P.E. classes teachingstudents Tai Chi Chuan which is welcomed by foreign students. Thespeed of spreading Chinese culture is fast. How to popularize Tai ChiChuan, the essense of the Chinese culture, to the world effectively? In theprocess, college and university education is undoubtedly an importantpoint. So how to promote and spread Tai Chi Chuan culture widely in thisway is worth studying.This essay takes50students in grade2010of martial arts elective coursesin Xinjiang Normal University as study objects for a12-week teachingresearch. This article isanalyzed by the document-data method, observational method, interviewing method, questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics and logicanalysis. Conclusions are as follows:1Let students of Central Asia have more knowledge of Tai Chi Chuanand promote Chinese national martial arts culture.2There is no strict assessment criteria.3. In the process of teaching, the differences of language and culturehave become the serious obstacles for foriegn students to communicatewith their teachers in Central Asia., but for how to overcome thesedifferences has not taken into account.4The most difficulties for the foreign students in Central Asia is thecomplicated action in Taichichuan in the process of learning.5The function of improving health is the important factor to attractmost the foreign students in Central Asia which the universityeducation should strengthen the positive guidance of the sport value oftaichiquan in the process of making Taichiquan become international.Suggestions of improving Tai Chi Chuan teaching: Ministry of highereducation in China could put Tai Chi Chuan teaching into management,classify it and work out a plan to improve teaching quality. Compiling martial arts teaching textbooks for foreign students of Central Asia andexplore special and suitable teaching methods. Make teaching standardsto the academic, teaching contents and objectives to humancommunication. From the view of martial arts internationalization, carryout systenmatic research for the teaching of the Central Asian students,and gradually expand the scale of Tai Chi Chuan teaching. In the processwe should emphasize the true aims of Tai Chi Chuan is to steel will, buildour body, cultivate morality and so on, not to exaggerate its form.
