Study On Marx’s Humanism

Western culture contains a strong intellectual tradition of humanism which begins from the ancient Greek humanist thought and undergoes the humanism of the Renaissance period in Europe, the humanitarian of the18th century French Enlightenment,19th century French utopian socialismon the pursuit and ontological significance of Feuerbach humanism. At different times, this ideology is in the process of changing and developing. The Western tradition of thought, however, does not have the policy of proceeding from the reality of individual people, but simply starting from the abstract to study on the doctrine, and there is no reality in social relations and practices examined, so that can not scientifically explain about human existence, human nature, freedom and full human development theory.Marx, on the basis of critical inherited traditional Western ideology, forms thorough the true sense, with practical, critical and scientific thought. In this paper, I will study Marx’s humanism in four parts:including the source of the theory of Marx’s humanism, the formation process, the basic implication and its characteristics, practical guiding significance. Marx’s humanism is an important part in the philosophical system of Marxism, the formation of this thinking is related with Marx’s personal learning, work, personality traits and the human spirit is closely related. We can explore from the classic theoretical writings of Marx and practices of Marx’s Humanism. The thought of Marx’s humanism beyonds the traditional Western culture, Marx bases on the reality of the individual, the use of analytical methods of the practice of Historical Materialism, Scientific Explanation of the doctrine on the people, and find the realization of human values human dignity, human freedom and comprehensive development of ways and methods.Finally, based on the actual situation of China which is still in the primary stage of socialism will be on Marx thought of the embodiment of that is people-oriented thinking and Marx’s thinking on China’s socialist construction and development of major theoretical guidance and practical significance.
